A.L.i.C.E. Training

ALiCE

Cleveland State University Police have acknowledged and responded to FBI statistics concerning violence in the workplace by introducingALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Information, Counter, Escape)training to our campus in 2013. We feel that in today’s world the Active Shooter or Active Killer, as we teach it, is the greatest threat/danger that our students, staff, faculty, and visitors will face while on campus. Beginning of the Fall 2014 semester, we began teaching ALICE in place of the Safety/Awareness program during our portion of ASC 101 sessions which all incoming freshman are required to take. We have also taken ALICE to any Education Program, University department, or organization that wishes to have the training.
