He has studied inorganic, organic and biological materials in relation to nanotechnology. In particular, he made important contribution to the area of protein crystallization, using atomic force microscopy to reveal the formation of crystal nucleus and individual defects. Dr. Yaus present research covers areas in bioelectronics and molecular electronics. His research group at Cleveland State University is currently engaged in developing new materials for molecular electronic applications and prototyping biosensors based on improved enzyme immobilization techniques. Dr. Yau has authored and co-authored over forty publications in referred journals. |
